Welcome to Desolation & Despair, the approved fanlisting for the song Map of the problematique by the English rock band Muse. This song is the fourth track from the band's fourth studio album, Black holes and revelations. It was also released as a single for digital download on iTunes and Muse's official website in June 2007, despite the fact that the song has no official videoclip. MOTP was written by Matthew Bellamy with the book Limits to growth as an inspiration. Bellamy also mentionned that he wrote this song about his girlfriend at the time.
